Smooth Away
So I bought these thinking "Yes! I won't have to shave as much." Too bad I have coarse hair and it didn't quite work as well as expected. First off you have to rub the file over your leg in a circular manner. Its pretty difficult to do places like your knees and the back of your leg in a circular manner. Plus it never really gets "smooth" so you keep going over and over the spots like a mad woman. I actually ended up "burning" my leg by going over the same spot too many times trying to "Smooth Away" the hair. Then I put lotion on after using the product and it burned like no other. I've also tried to shower after using the product, again, burn factor is outrageous. I guess if you have fine hair this would probably work wonders, but for me, it just didn't do the trick. I give this a thumbs down.

The Snuggie
Oh yes, that's right, I have a Snuggie. And if you don't believe me, see pictures of said Snuggie below. I bought the original Snuggie year before last (prior to the designer and upgraded Snuggies available now) and I absolutely love the thing.
Let me list out some quick Megan facts about the Snuggie:
1. Its made out of a felt like material that I'm pretty certain is not flame retardant, so be careful around open fire (such as outside, around the fire pit, having a glass of wine on a crisp fall night).
2. Its fairly large and I can usually share the bottom portion with another person laying on the couch.
3. The maroon color I purchased is not the greatest color, but they have new colors/patterns available now. I would not recommend the light green or blue as it can pill a little bit when washed (the maroon hides red wine spills perfectly).
4. Its not heavy at all, but warm enough if you are indoors. I'm not certain how warm it would keep you at a sporting event (as shown on the commercial) without a fair amount of layers underneath (specifically if its the middle of winter).
5. I've had it for almost a year and a half now and it has completely held up (hasn't even lost a hem).
All-in-all I love my Snuggie. It’s basically just a big blanket with arms, but heck I didn't come up with it so I can't knock it. I bought one for my mother and have recommended them to my friends. Love it or hate it, you have to admit it’s pretty good at keeping you warm.
Hope you love your new Snuggie as much as I do!

Ta Da! Let the Fun Begin
I'm a huge fan of "As Seen on TV" products and buy them religiously. I thought it wouldn't be such a bad idea for me to do a review of the products that I purchase off of TV b/c hey, everyone needs an opinion. And at 1am when you are contemplating purchasing that new and wonderful gadget before your eyes, perhaps you should check with me first! So I hope you enjoy and if you have any products you'd like me to review, just let me know. :)
